About

A sourcing partner you can call

Andino Fruits connects international importers with Peruvian packing houses, and checks the fruit before it leaves.

Who we are

Export food is what we know

Andino Fruits is led by Yuri Caicedo, who has worked in food exports since 2010: on the farm, in a family packing plant and, since 2019, running Shrimp & Sea, a sourcing and inspection company for international seafood buyers.

We bring the same method to Peruvian fruit. We agree the specification with you, inspect every lot at the packing house and send you the report before the container sails. If a lot is not right, you hear it from us first.

We are based in Machala, Ecuador, a few hours from Peru's northern growing regions, and we work with buyers in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Our team

Inspection is our routine

Our team inspects every shipment before it is released, with measurements, photos and the buyer's approval. We apply that routine to avocados, blueberries, grapes and mangoes.

Our values

What we stand for

Ethics

We only sell what we can stand behind, and we say no to a lot that does not meet your specification.

Transparency

You know the packing house, you see the measurements and you get every report, good or bad.

Commitment

One person answers for your program from the first quote to the last document.

Efficiency

Quotes within one business day and reports before the vessel sails, not after.

Customer focus

Your specification comes first. We adapt calibers, packaging and timing to what you sell.

Principles

What we will and will not do

Specifications

We publish the specification

Calibers, packaging, cold chain and terms are on this website. If a number is not confirmed, we say so rather than rounding it into a promise.

Reports

We report what we find

An inspection that goes badly is still sent to you, in full, before the container loads.

Seasons

We do not oversell the calendar

Peru has seasons. When a window closes we say so, rather than shipping tired fruit to keep an order alive.
