Why Peru

Harvest moves north to south

Piura opens in October, Ica peaks December to February and Arequipa closes the season in April. One origin covers six months.

Why Peru

Modern licensed varieties

About 75% of Peruvian grape exports are licensed varieties such as Sweet Globe and Autumn Crisp, which is what retailers now ask for.

Why Peru

Proven in demanding markets

Peru sends more than half its grapes to the United States, then the Netherlands, Mexico, the UK and Canada.

In the field

Harvested by hand, checked bunch by bunch

Grapes are picked by hand into field crates and sorted before packing. We look at stems, berry firmness, Brix and SO₂ pad placement before the pallets go in.
